If your an affiliate marketer you are probably dealing with some of the major affiliate networks out there. Each of these networks assigns you an affiliate manager. USE THEM!
A lot of newbs don’t realize that the payout the affiliate network is showing you in their interface is not usually the best payout on the offer. Furthermore, if they do realize this, they think they have to be driving 1,000’s of leads to that offer to get any kind of increase. WRONG! Most of the time all you have to do is ask.
The same goes for a lot of other needs that an affiliate has. Are you having a cash flow problem? Ask the network for weekly payments. They probably have a minimum threshhold to do this but most networks/affiliate managers will work with you.
Need a specific offer? Most networks will at least try to get you the offer.
The bottom line here is that you shouldn’t care about what your affiliate manager thinks about you. Ask them for whatever you need with no fear of being annoying. That’s their job! There are a gazillionbillionquadrillion affiliate networks out there. They want your business. Stick with the networks that help you get what you need.
Don’t be afraid to ask!
But don’t ask your neverblue manager for anything.. they’ll never give it to you… god dammit
@Justin – Ive been lucky at neverblue and always had excellent affiliate managers.
Ya, I’d actually pick up the phone and call them too. Ive havent had any luck contacting any of my AM’s over email. Pick up the phone and call them, always best way.
@Digga – You can’t beat the phone but AIM works well too.
Neverblue doesn’t give you sh** if you’re doing small numbers; at least not in my experience.
